How to make shaving cream art
Shaving cream marbling art is as simple as apple pie!
Mixing art and shaving cream is so much fun for kids and incorporates a bit of sensory benefits which is a plus.
How do you make shaving cream art?
Here are the steps I took for this simple shaving cream art idea and crafts for kids:
Draw shapes onto a few sheets of cardstock paper.
Then, cut them out.
Lay them on the table.
Then, add shaving cream to however many plates that pertain to the amounts of colors you will be using.
Add a few drops of liquid watercolors or food coloring to each of the plates filled with shaving cream.
Bring forth these paper plates to the table and see if your littles would like to mix around the coloring and shaving cream with a toothpick!
Stir around the colors to create this marbled effect on the shaving cream.
Then, the fun part:
Grab your cardstock paper shape and lay it on top of the shaving cream colored plate.
Lay it on the side and wait about 5 minutes for the colors to soak in on the cardstock paper.
Once your 5 minutes is up, use a cake scraper to scrape off the excess shaving cream that is on the cardstock paper and voila..
You’ve an epic art piece using none other than – shaving cream. 🙂
