I really enjoy putting together easy 2 ingredient recipes for my littles.
Especially when they incorporate the least amount of ingredients.
This time around I wanted something that was really easy and fun and that I knew I could just
pull out from our kitchen cupboard..
This DIY body paint recipe came about and it is so epic!
I’ll share below how I made this homemade face paint and how you can too!

Bowl (to mix both portions.)
Food grade regular dye or gel dye
Muffin tin (optional)
This simple paint face kids activity was lots of fun and very easy to set up.
We’ve used this simple recipe for my girls to play and paint on their dolls, on themselves, as a DIY bath paint and on a sheet of paper.
It is very easy to put together. Here are the steps I took for this simple easy homemade paint recipe:
I added 2:1 ratio of baby lotion to unbleached flour into a bowl.
Then, add a little squirt of food coloring.
Mix it together.
And, voila you’ve made a really easy recipe for face paint, body paint, arts and crafts paint for kids!
This is a very easy recipe that it can even become a recipe for kids to make all on their own (3 and up).
