How to put together the Alphabet Clip Cards Printable
Print out the printable. You can either choose to laminate them and then cut them or cut them without laminating.
I laminate ours to maintain them so we are able to take them on the go, keep them in busy bins or on vacation.
This is completely optional and both ways will work great.
Once I finish cutting the clip cards, I am ready to set them up on the table.
We used dot markers this time around. But, pom poms, wool balls, mini erasers, mini clothespins… will all work great!
How to use the Alphabet Clip Cards Printable
My preschooler and kindergartener enjoyed these cards in their own specific ways.
Miss 3 loves coloring. Both my girls love to color. So, these are perfect to use as little mini coloring pages.
While they color, you can talk about what the picture is that they see. Sound out the images name.
Miss 6 enjoys all this and more. She likes matching the cards to each other.
She also enjoyed using the manipulatives such as the dot marker or pom poms to use in marking the uppercase/lowercase letters or the correct first letter word of the image to the correct alphabet letter.
You can even add in a hole puncher for some fine motor clipping of the right match with your kindergartener. Supervision is advised.
Miss 6 had a hard time at first using the hole puncher, but after a while she got it and it was fun for her!
What other fun ways can you think of using these?
