And, we love when they are squishy too!
This specific sensory bag is just that and so much fun.
The wonderful thing about creating a sensory bag is that you can theme them for any time of the year, create them for early learning all while gaining the benefits of sensory play.
Double points for sensory bags and these are some of the reasons we love them and are probably top 5 in our home.
I’ll go into more detail below of how easy this sensory bag was to set up and how you can probably make this easy peasy sensory bag at home too!

How exactly do you put this simple mess free finger painting activity together, Tam?
Easy!
Here are the steps I took to put together this simple activity:
Draw a tree onto cardstock paper.
Then, cut it and use it as a stencil to stencil it onto the bag.
Attach it on the inside with tape making sure it is within the drawn out one on the bag.
Add paint to it from the inside of the bag.
Then close the bag and tape it onto a table to ensure it doesn’t move around while squishing the paint around.
Squish the paint and create a really easy fall tree craft.
Once its been sitting in there for a bit but not completely dry either, remove it carefully and add it onto a sheet of construction paper to dry.
I removed the tape and filled in those spaces with paint and voila!
You’ve a really fun and easy mess free finger painting!
