A really easy and fun activity is my jam!
My girls love when I bring forth a really easy activity that is pretty much a DIY on mamas part!
Easy DIY activities such as these are so much fun and I just love when I set them up.
Why? 🙂
Because they are just so easy to set up and lots of fun!
So, we all know what a pool noodle is.
It is used for the pool 🙂 And, if you are like me we love using pool noodles for fun and easy DIY summer activities too.
But!..
We also use them year round in fun activities such as this one – for fall/autumn.
Say what?
Yes, you heard that right.
They are wonderful in art and craft activities like the one I set up for my girls this time around.
Let’s get into it, shall we?

Simple Pool Noodle Crafts
So, how exactly did I set this really easy apple activity up?
Here are the details and the steps on how I put this simple apple craft activity together:
I cut the pool noodles into circular pieces.
I then made little green leaf pictures onto a long paper roll.
Then, add paint into a dish/tray so that you can dip the pool noodles into.
Stamp the pool noodle onto a long sheet of paper and under the green leaves and voila! You’ve a fun apple craft.
Isn’t that easy peasy?
Very simple and lots of fun.

Another fun way to use pool noodles is to add and to take away.
If you are teaching kindergarteners, here is an example:
Bring out 2 green pool noodle pieces and 3 red pool noodle pieces and create an epic game of adding and subtracting in a fun way with this easy and simple hands on activity!
Preschoolers can also have fun learning with pool noodles in a fun way by creating patterns.
Use a postcard to draw out a pattern. For example: Draw an ABB pattern.
Draw a 1 red circle then 2 green circles then repeat the pattern, 1 red circle and 2 green circles.
Your LO can follow the pattern on the postcard by using the pool noodles!
This is a wonderful way of learning hands-on for preschoolers!
