This specific one not only works on patterns..
It also works on colors, learning to differentiate, skip counting by 2’s and more!

Fine motor skills
Hand eye coordination
Color recognition
And, more!
I will be sharing below how easy this simple line up the dots activity is to setup and how you can maybe try it out too!

Dot Sticker Activities Toddlers
This simple and easy activity can work really well for preschoolers.
I like setting out activities that will also work well for a differentiated set of ages.
For example, dot sticker activities for toddlers can looks something like this..
Without skip counting colors in 2’s like we did this time around, a simple toddler rainbows activity that will work for toddlers would be to add the same colored dots on one arch, the same colored rainbow stickers on the second arch and so on and so forth.
This will allow for toddlers to learn that the red goes with red so that is the color RED!
The orange goes with the orange and this is the color ORANGE!
This is a simple and repetitive way for creating a rainbow and having fun learning about colors.
So simple and fun. 🙂
Here are the steps I took to put this simple set of Rainbow activities for preschoolers:
Fold a sheet of cardstock paper in half.
Then, create rainbow arches/lines that take up the entire sheet of paper.
On one side, add dot stickers that create patterns for each arch.
The goal of this rainbow learning activity is to follow the patterns to fill up the other side with the correct dot stickers.
Very simple and fun!
Dot Sticker Activities Preschool and Kindergarten
For preschoolers and for dot sticker activities for kindergarteners, maybe try skip counting by colors to create patterns.
On one side of the sheet add a sequence of red dot sticker, orange dot sticker, red dot sticker, orange dot sticker…
Then, maybe ask what comes next??
I love rainbow stickers and how incredible they are for creating simple rainbow activities that incorporate a bit of learning through play!
What other fun dot sticker activities for preschoolers can you think of that maybe you have tried in the past or are thinking of trying?
I’d love to learn your ideas so maybe we can try them out too! 🙂
