How do you make a rainbow out of popsicle sticks?
Super simple!
Here are the steps I took to set this simple Rainbow DIY crafts up for my LO:
On a table set out the colored popsicle sticks and elmers glue.
Then, cut out a cloud from a sheet of cardstock paper.
Create a cute face on it or let your LO create one if that is okay with you.
Set the cut out cloud on the table as well.
Go at it and glue the popsicle sticks to the back of the cardstock paper cloud.
Let dry for about 20 minutes.
Turn it over and voila! You’ve made a simple rainbow popsticks craft!

Colorful Popsicle Sticks
Coloured craft sticks are such an amazing manipulative that work for a differentiated set of ages.
A simple activity for a toddler or preschoolers would be to trace the popsicle sticks in different colors (make sure the same colors as the popsicle sticks) on a sheet of paper.
Then, match the popsicle sticks to the correct traced colors.
This is a classic and very easy colored craft sticks setup for learning about colors.
This set of kids crafts with popsicle sticks can also be a form of art if used with Elmers glue!
Glue the craft sticks after or while matching them and keep the sheet as a wonderful keepsake thereafter! 🙂
