This specific snowman craft was very easy to put together and perfect for toddlers and preschoolers!

Snowman crafts for preschoolers can look alot like creating an epic paper plate snowman and then adding a bit of early learning to it.
For example:
Talk about the amount of eyes the snowman has, or what color the snowman’s nose is.
These questions will allow for your preschooler to learn about color recognition and counting!
Preschoolers also can learn about the winter season. 🙂

Supplies:
Paper plate
White, blue, orange and black construction paper
Elmer’s glue
And, you are good to go!

How to: Paper Plate Crafts Tutorial
This particular paper snowman craft only required 3 ingredients:
How to make a snowman out of paper plates
Here are the steps we took to make this simple craft snowman:
Cut out a circle out of blue construction paper of the same size as your paper plate.
Then, use elmer’s glue to glue the blue circle onto the plate.
Cut out two circles out of black construction paper.
Then, cut out 5-6 circles out of black construction paper.
Cut out a cylinder triangle shape for a nose out of orange construction paper.
Then, grab your white construction paper and cut out many squares and or circles out of it.
Set these out on a tray with Elmer’s glue on the craft table.
Voila! You’ve an epic and easy snowman activity to glue and add pieces to create a fun snowman made out of paper plates.
Glue the white square pieces onto the paper plate to create a snowman circular head.
Then, add the other pieces to complete the snowman (nose, eyes and smile).
My LO added white construction paper square pieces around the snowman to create “snow”! 🙂
This simple snowman craft can be so much fun for preschoolers whether in a school setting, homeschooling or even if you are right at home for a fun crafty day!
