Here are the steps I took to create this simple set of Earth day projects for toddlers, preschoolers and for kids:
How to make paper plate Earth Craft
Cut pieces of GREEN and BLUE construction paper into big squares.
Set those aside.
Bring forth a paper plate and elmers glue onto a crafting table.
My LO glued on the pieces onto the paper plate and in the end she added a fun and cute little heart right in the middle!

How do you make a paper plate butterfly?
Paper plate butterflies can be so easy peasy and fun to make!
Here is how we make paper plate butterflies:
Cut the edges of a paper plate so that they are rounded out on opposite ends (making them look like butterfly wings!
Then, draw a body in the middle of the paper plate.
Glue on construction paper antennas and draw a face right under the antennas and on the paper plate.
Use dot markers or fingerpaint to create cute designs onto the paper plate butterfly!
