DIY penguin crafts are so cute! 

Especially when they involved a bit of an early learning twist! 

This simple penguin art for kids activity is so much fun and can be made easily with a couple of homemade items. 

This easy penguin craft not only involved a craft for kids but it also incorporated a bit of sensory play, color matching, and more! 

I’ll be sharing below how easy this simple penguin craft was to put together and how you can maybe try it out too!

Materials:

• Recycled Shoe Box

• Construction Paper

• Scotch Tape

• Craft Knife

• Pom Poms (Colorful)

• Tray (optional) 

• Uncooked rice (optional) 

These are all we used for this simple set of penguin crafts for preschool and for kids!

To put together this set of penguin art projects whether you are in a school setting or right at home, here’s what I did: 

• Use black, white and orange construction paper to decorate the penguin shoe box craft. 

• Then, use the craft knife to create a hole where the craft penguins mouth would go. 

• This is to insert the colorful pom poms for a fun early learning twist. 

• If you choose to, set out a tray filled with uncooked rice + colorful pom poms or just the pom poms alone. 

• Then, you’ve set up a simple penguin craft for kids + sensory play + learning experience for learning all about colors with a fine motor twist! 

Phew, that was a tongue twister.

• Counting

• Adding
