This Christmas craft for kids only took about 10 second to set up – literally! 

And, you’ll only really need 2 items AKA 2 ingredients! 

It may take a little longer (we’re talking 1 minute) if you cut out the Christmas tree! 🙂 

I’ll be sharing below exactly how I set forth this simple activity for kids this Christmas for my girls and how you can go about setting this same activity up for your littles.

• Christmas tree cutout (Or you can DIY it by cutting out Christmas trees out of green construction paper or foam craft paper. 

• Dot Stickers (We used small and large dot stickers for this.)

Preschool Christmas Craft How To: 

So, you have your ingredients but how do I set this simple set of activities for kids up? 

Simple! 

You can go about this in many ways, for learning different educational variations and for a differentiated set of ages.

We kept it simple. 

And, this simple activity works well for toddlers or just for having fun! 

Here are the steps I took to set this simple activity for kids up: 

• Lay out your green Christmas Tree templates onto a large rolled out sheet of paper or on your child’s play table. 

• Then, add your dot stickers. (Tip: remove the sticker that surrounds the dot stickers for easy removal of dot stickers!) 

• Voila! You’ve set up a simple Christmas Tree Dot Sticker Kids Activity! 

• Next, you can add the different colored dot stickers to the trees! 

• For preschoolers, call out the colors as you add them.

How to go about this simple kids activity for a differentiated set of ages

Toddler Dot Sticker Christmas Tree Craft

For example, toddlers can add the dot stickers and you can talk about the colors he/she adds as they are being added. 

This is a great way to learn about colors! 

Count them so they understand that after 1 comes 2!

Preschool Dot Sticker Christmas Tree Craft 

Preschoolers can have so much fun with this simple dot sticker craft too! 

They can learn all that toddlers are learning but in a stronger learning approach. 

For example, preschoolers may already know 1 or 2 colors but they can 4 or 5 colors too. 

They can also count them from 1-5 as the dot stickers are being added to the trees or sort the trees by different colors!

Add a dot sticker with an uppercase letter to one tree and a dot sticker with a lowercase letter to another. Match them together. 🙂
