Winter is here, yay!
Who else loves winter as much as we do?
I think it may be partly because we live in sunny S. Fla so I haven’t experienced our first winter yet.
Do you think I may change my mind?
I dont think so!!
Winter time looks like so much fun!
It’s a time to make snow angels, have a mini snowball throwing game, and build a snowman with the family!
We love the winter time!
So, with winter in mind and with my preschooler in mind, I created a simple play to learn preschool printable!
This easy peasy winter ABC Cover game is so much fun and very easy to play and learn with!
I’ll be sharing below how to go about this roll and cover math game printable and how you can go about it too!

Winter Roll and cover math game
Simple and easy printables such as these are nice because they are:
No prep printable sheets
Can be placed as an additional sheet within a busy book or learning folder!
Used over and over again
Play to learn printables!
Printable number games are our jam!
This set of sheets come in either color or in black and white.
So much fun, easy peasy and a great learning through play set of sheets.
We like to use these laminated so that we can use them over and over again.
Laminating them also helps us be able to reuse these sheets over again, as placemats and with dry erase markers.
Another fun way to use these is to cover with some sort of manipulative.
Manipulatives that we have used have been:
Erasers
Counting chips
Sheets of paper cut into squares
Dot markers
Crayons
These are some of the manipulatives we have used when we bring out a game covers printable that requires a fun roll and cover game.
Now, if you’d like to include a fun roll a snowman game, then you can most definitely try using one of those big foam dice.
We like to print out letters and then tape them on the dice.
Then, roll it making sure to dot the letter it lands on.
Before dotting or covering though, we like to say aloud the letter sound or letter name.
Easy and fun for learning about the alphabet, its letters and letter sounds!
I hope that you enjoyed this set of printables.
Happy Learning!
