St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Kids

St Patricks Dat Activities for kids

It’s that time of year again! 🙂

St. Patricks Day is around the corner and spring is coming very soon.

The flowers will be blooming soon if they haven’t already.

The sun will come out and shine its warm cozy rays onto us and outdoor play will be taking over again. 🙂

So, below is a grand list I have compiled for you by some amazing bloggers you may already be following, themed for this time of year – St. Patrick’s Day

I love making these lists each month.

They help me bring forth themed activities and crafts for my children and I hope they help your family too!

Here are some of our past activities and crafts for kids activity lists:

…and now, this list you are about to see below, all themed for St. Patricks Day for kids! 🙂

What do kids do on St Patrick’s Day?

Here are some ideas you can possibly try with your littles on this day:

  • Talk about the meaning behind St Patrick’s Day by heading over to your local library and checking out a kid friendly book all about the history and/or meaning of this holiday.

  • Make rainbow necklaces by cutting strips of construction paper, gluing the ends together and creating a band of different colored circles.

  • Create a fun treasure hunt for your littles and if you’d like to turn it a bit educational, count them!

  • Make a St Patrick’s Day craft.

I will be most likely sharing over 10 of them below. 🙂

  • Attend a St Patrick’s Day parade if your town is having one.

This is great for learning more about this holiday.

  • Make a lucky charms rice krispies treat or a fun inspired St Patrick’s Day dish that will work well to try out with your family.

  • Print out some fun St Patrick’s Day printables.

You can find them here.

These are just some ideas that I can think of that will be helpful as fun family activities for St. Patrick’s Day!
