Shaving Cream Art Instructions
Cut an egg shaped shape out of cardstock paper.
Set aside.
On a cookie tray or tray, spray shaving foam onto it.
Then, dot a few drops of food coloring in different areas of the shaving foam on the tray.
Use a toothpick or craft stick to swirl it around.
Tip: Do not over swirl as the colors will become too overly mixed.
Then, add your egg cardstock paper onto the shaving foam.
Make sure every corner is touching the colored shaving foam evenly.
Remove, set aside for around 2 minutes.
Then, use a ruler to scrape off the shaving foam (my daughters’ favorite part) to see the masterpiece come to life!

Is it safe to eat eggs dyed with shaving cream?
We personally do not eat our eggs when used in our crafts/activities.
The eggs we use for crafting are not consumed afterwards and are strictly meant for crafting only.
Therefore, I wouldn’t be able to tell if it is safe or not as we have never attempted this.

How to marble Easter Eggs
Here are the steps to create an epic shaving cream marbling craft for kids using fully cooled down hard boiled eggs:
How to make marbled eggs using shaving cream
Hard boil a set of eggs and set those aside to fully cool down.
Then, on a cookie tray, add shaving foam/shaving cream with a few drops of food coloring spread around every corner to create a marbled effect.
WIth a toothpick or craft stick, spread the food coloring around (don’t overspread as the colors will mix together too much.)
Then, once fully cooled down, insert a hard boiled egg into the marbled shaving cream and swirl it around.
This give the eggs a tie dye with shaving cream look/effect.
Set it aside and move onto the next egg and so on and so forth.
Let your eggs dry for about 20 minutes.
