Gingerbread man counting game
Gingerbread man math activities don’t only need to be done on a worksheet.
They can work as a fun set of play to learn activities such as this simple one.
Let’s talk about how I set this simple gingerbread man game up!
Gingerbread man games can work for a differentiated set of ages and in a variety of themes.
This time around, I set this simple activity for a fun counting and gingerbread matching game.
This can go in so many ways, but this is just how we chose to do it this time around.
How would you set a simple gingerbread game up?
Here are some gingerbread games for kids ideas off the top of my head that may also work depending on what your LO is learning at the moment:
Gingerbread Name Activity
Gingerbread Alphabet Matching Game
Uppercase/Lowercase Matching Game
Matching by Numbers
Dot to dot gingerbread man
Gingerbread man games preschoolers can try such as patterns
Equations for Kindergarteners
Color Matching for Toddlers
Gingerbread Shape Matching Activity
These are just some ideas off the top of my head right now.
Here are the steps I took to set up this simple set of gingerbread man activities:
Trace the amount of gingerbread men you would like for matching onto a poster board.
Then add the amount of circles within each that you are working on with your LO.
Tip: If you are working on only numbers 1-5, only trace 5 gingerbread men and 1-5 circles within each for matching.
Then, on the gingerbread men foam sheets, write out that number.
Match the gingerbread men foam sheets to their correct set of number dots on the poster board.
Sounds fairly easy, right?
This set of gingerbread man activities is very easy!
