This hedgehog craft is inspired by this time of year.
It is one of our favorites and I’ve included two different ways to go about creating this hedgehog art for kids.

How to Make a Hedgehog Crafts for Preschool (First Edition)
The first easy hedgehog craft for kids we did only required:
Here are the steps on how to put together this easy hedgehog art for kids craft:
On a sheet of paper draw out a hedgehog (Looking for the free hedgehog template? It is at the very bottom of this post!)
Then, set out pine cones on your littles playroom table or floor.
Add the pine cones to the drawn out hedgehog or the hedgehog template!
Easy peasy, right?
This is great for working on fine motor skills, counting and more!
We also love using this simple craft as a letter h crafts for preschoolers.
Letter H crafts for preschool can be as easy as this simple setup.

The second hedgehog craft we tried out was similar but a bit different.

How to make Hedgehog Crafts for Preschool (Second Edition)
My little loved decorating this hedgehog craft!
We did not use the hedgehog template (found at the bottom of this post) this time around.
But, we did use the same hedgehog that I drew out to add the pine cones to in the first hedgehog activity for kids!
Here are the steps on how to make this easy hedgehog craft:
My little one started gluing pom poms together to make a flower for the hedgehogs head on the cardstock sheet.
Then, she glued on the pieces of yarn to color in the hedgehog craft.
She glued on a craft eye piece (optional) and voila!
An easy peasy hedgecraft craft!
