How to set up this simple Halloween craft for kids activity
What I love about this simple activity for toddlers, preschoolers and for kids is that not only are littles having so much fun, they are also learning about shapes, colors, parts of the body and counting!
Each piece of cut out foam sheet or construction paper is a shape.
What shapes for kids did we use?
Triangle (Hat)
Circle (Eyes and Face)
Heart (Nose)
Rectangle (Hair)
Crescent (Mouth)
Semi-circle (Mouth)
Easy and fun!
Here are the steps I took to set forth this kids craft for toddlers and for kids:
I grabbed different color foam sheet squares.
I cut different shapes out of them with an idea in mind of how the craft witch would turn out.
Then, once they were complete I added them onto a tray.
Set forth the tray on a table and have a go at creating a fun witch craft for kids!
Some of the fun ideas you can go about learning with this simple activity for toddlers and for kids is:
Learning about shapes
Learning about colors
Learning about body parts
Learning about counting (count the pieces)
For example: There are two eyes, there are three hairs on each side..)
Sorting by Colors
Sorting by Body Parts
There are so many fun ways you can go about setting forth this simple activity for preschool, toddlers and for kids.
You can even go as far as writing numbers on the corners of each of the shapes and your LO can go about starting with number 1, then adding number 2 and so on and so forth.
While they are adding the pieces to create the craft witch activity, your LO can say aloud the numbers (learning through play!)
