How to use this Free Valentine Printable
Before I cut the sheets for use, I like to laminate them so we can reuse them over and over again.
This is not necessary but helpful if you’d like to:
Take them on the go
Reuse them over again
To secure the sheets so they dont break if you choose to reuse them.
If most of these don’t apply to you, then don’t worry because laminating them is totally not necessary at all.
Cut each of the Valentine cards out for a fun To and From Valentine day printables game of sending the family or friends cards of love!
If you choose to use these in a fun memory game, I’ll explain how to go about setting one up below:
Print out double of the cards within the preschool Valentine worksheets so that they have a pair.
Cut each pair out and set them on the table.
Turn them over so that each card is facing downward.
Turn over one of the cards and then another.
Do they match? If so, you’ve made a pair!
Set those aside and try again.
If they don’t make a match, turn them over and try again.
It is called a memory game because when you turn over a couple you’ll remember over time where they are at so you can make a pair. 🙂

We like to talk about the animals we see on some of the cards.
A couple of questions I like to ask in regards to this set of preschool Valentine printables are:
What animal is this?
What color is the animal?
In this way, I can also pop in a bit of learning through play!
Print out double of the cards and set 2 of the same animal aside and 1 of another animal.
Set them next to each other and say something like, “If two frog cards and 1 cat card are in a room together” how many animals are in the room in total?
Or, if there is 3 dinosaur cards and 1 frog card and I take away the frog card, how many animals are left?
This is a great set of Valentine games for kindergarten.
I hope you enjoy this free Valentine printable as much as we do!
