Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus..
That tune is one that comes to mind when we think of this easy santa craft!
Not only is this craft santa so much fun to make, it has a bit of an educational twist to it too!
My preschooler had so much fun with this Santa Claus craft, that she didn’t even notice all the learning that was involved!
Yes, that is right – she was also learning about shapes!
You see, I cut out different santa pieces in shapes so as she would add them, she discovered a new shape:
Hat – Triangle
Eyes – Circle
Part of Hat – Rectangle and Circle
Cheeks – Oval
And more..
And, by adding the fun cotton balls, it brought a bit of texture to this set of santa claus crafts.
This is a wonderful way to introduce shapes while crafting an easy Santa Claus!
Neat, right?
I’ll be sharing below how I set up and all I used for this Easy Santa Face activity for kids!

How to make a Christmas Santa Claus Craft
Here’s how you can set up this cute Santa Claus Craft for kids:
Tape two sheets of construction paper together.
Then, cut out different santa shapes (head – circle, eyes – circles, hat – triangle..)
Set those pieces on the side of your table.
Then, set out the elmer’s glue on the table as well.
My LO then added the santa shapes to create santa.
I directed and made sure to add it to the top of the construction sheet to leave enough space for the cotton ball beard.
Then, glue the cotton balls to create the textured beard!
Easy peasy santa craft idea! 🙂
