This is all you will need, yay!
Note: Sometimes we won’t include the fine motor tool, because my LO just likes getting into fine motor activities without using them and using her fingers only and that is okay too!
So it is completely optional if you’d like to use them or not. 🙂
Either way they will still be gaining the benefits of fine motor play, woohoo!

What can I make with small rubber bands?
Small rubber bands – the ones you use for little kids hair to make pigtails is also a fun tool to use in activities.
You can try adding them into a tray of a small amount of water and using an unused chopstick to pick them up!

Fun things to make with rubber bands
There are so many fun ideas you can try making with rubber bands.
Here are the steps I took to put together this simple rubber band activity with an empty ice cube tray:
Grab an empty ice cube tray.
Add pom poms within each of the holes.
Then, add rubber bands around the ice cube tray making sure to slightly cover each of the holes.
Ask your LO if she’d like to help rescue the pom poms from the ice cube tray.
Make it fun and pretend they need help getting out.
Shout out the color names as you take the pom poms out and learn about colors in a fun way!
This is just one of the many fun and creative things to do with rubber bands!
