Toddlers can practice on their pincer grasp skills by picking up a toy and placing it on the tape line.
That is if they are using their index finger and thumb only.

Toddlers can learn about colors by adding different colored pieces of tape onto a table as we did.

Color games for preschoolers
Are you looking for color games for preschoolers?
There are many fun color games you can try with preschoolers.
Teaching colors isn’t very hard and can be brought forth with items you probably already own.
For example, use playdough!
Playdough comes in all different colors.
You can even make play dough yourself at home
For a fun and easy homemade playdough, check one of our recipes here!
Lay a playdough of different colors out on the table.
Then as your preschooler plays with one color, talk about that color with them.
Playing while learning is a very effective way to learn rather quickly.
Perhaps you can even try a fun color matching game as mentioned above by creating 2 of each colored play dough ball and matching them or squishing the two that match.
For example, if you are learning about blue color activities for preschool, create many different blue balls of play dough and pinch them down while calling out their color name!
Shape and colour activities for preschool can also be incorporated.
I used our shape color buttons to not only match the colors onto the tape.
But, you can talk about the different shaped buttons as well!
Teaching Colours Activities doesn’t have to be hard.
You can teach about colors by using safe and kid friendly items all around you 🙂
