How I put together this simple Pumpkin Math Activity…
Because I had candy pumpkins and not candy corn I created vines onto 4 sheets of cardstock paper.
The point of the preschool math activity was so my LO can learn through play!
Here are the exact steps I took to put this simple activity together:
I taped 4 sheets of cardstock paper but you can totally use one sheet of a poster board.
Then, I drew vines with a green marker onto the sheets of paper.
I also drew numbers 1-10 for a fun “tap the correct number” game for when she addes the pumpkin corns (This is great for number recognition.)
That is literally all you will need for this simple kids activity!

Candy Pumpkin Activity
So, how exactly did this activity go?
It went like this…
My LO added the pumpkins and as she added them, she counted them too.
If she stopped counting she would tap the number to match the correct amount of pumpkin corn candy she was on!
This helped her see what the number one looks like, the number two and so on and so forth…
This is a wonderful way to learn about number recognition while learning through play!
You can also talk about the colors orange and green and learn about how pumpkins grow with vines!
