How do you do the paper towel trick?
How do you make a magic drawing paper?
It’s as easy as 1-2-3, literally.
Here are the steps I took to put this together (hint: its 3 easy steps.)
Draw apples on the inner paper towel sheet. I drew ten apples.
Then, close the sheet and draw a tree on the outer paper towel sheet.
Insert a bit of water into a tray and drop your paper towels into the tray.
Voila, watch the magic unfold as the apples come forth upwards.
Practice counting the apples on the tree!
A fun and easy magic drawing experiment that incorporates a bit of early learning, yippee!
Can a paper towel stay dry in water experiment?
From what we have tried in our home, we do not leave the paper towel to dry in the tray.
Once we see the magic and learn from our creation (via counting the apples on the apple tree) I remove the paper towel and it is done.
